Gallardo claims Costa could be on the way to Real Madrid.
He told El Chiringuito that the Brazil-born, Spain international has been offered to the Spanish giants.
However, he refused to elaborate whether it was the player's agent or Chelsea who made the move.
Costa's future was plunged into doubt during the final weeks of the season after reports from Spain suggested he wanted out of west London.

Juventus want to sell Pogba to Barcelona ahead of Man City
Corriere dello Sport says Juventus would rather sell the French international to Barcelona as the Catalan club would allow the youngster to stay in Turin for one more season on loan.
Both Barca and City have lodged massive offers for the Frenchman.
